Ultra-Thin 9V QI Wireless Fast Charging Pad for Compatible Smartphones and Devices

This wireless charging pad provides a cable-free solution for powering QI-enabled devices such as smartphones, earbuds, and other compatible electronics. Its primary advantage lies in supporting both standard 5V charging and a faster 9V input mode, allowing it to adapt to different power sources and charging requirements. The remarkably thin 6.5mm profile and compact 98mm square footprint mean it occupies minimal space on a desk, bedside table, or work surface. With the ability to transmit power effectively through materials up to 8mm thick, it offers practical convenience for daily charging without the need to frequently plug and unplug cables.

Features and Construction

This charging pad is built around the widely adopted QI wireless charging standard, ensuring compatibility with a broad range of modern devices. Its design prioritises a low-profile form factor and efficient power delivery.

Material and Build

The product is supplied as the GY-68 wireless charging base unit. While specific materials for the outer casing are not detailed in the source text, the internal construction employs components necessary for electromagnetic induction-based power transfer as per the QI specification. The unit features a black on black colour scheme, presenting a subtle appearance. It connects to a power source via the included standard USB cable, designated as a USB model.

Size and Practical Fit

The charging pad's dimensions are 98mm in length, 98mm in width, and 6.5mm in height. This square, ultra-thin form factor allows it to fit discreetly in most environments. The 8mm maximum transmission distance means it can charge devices through typical phone cases and slim protective covers, adding to everyday convenience. The compact size makes it easily portable for use at home, in the office, or while travelling.

Uses and Placement

The pad is designed for straightforward, daily wireless charging of compatible electronics. Its versatility stems from its dual-voltage support and slim design.

Event or Professional Use

In office or professional settings, the pad can serve as a tidy charging station on a desk, reducing cable clutter. Its fast charge support (9.0V/2A input, 9.0V/1.2A output) can provide efficient power top-ups during the workday. The neutral black on black finish suits most office aesthetics. For events or presentations, it offers a clean, modern way to keep demonstration devices charged.

Everyday Home Use

At home, it is ideal for bedside or living room use, providing a simple drop-and-charge solution for smartphones overnight or during downtime. The standard charging mode (5.0V/1-2A input, 5.0V/1-1.2A output) is suitable for overnight charging or maintaining a device's battery. The pad's ability to work through casings means users often don't need to remove their phone's protective cover to charge.

Benefits and Buying Value

The value of this charging pad lies in its combination of thin design, fast charge compatibility, and the practical convenience of wireless power transfer.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The pad requires minimal maintenance; simply keep the surface clean and free of debris. The included USB cable is standard, so it can be replaced if damaged or used with different adapters. As a wireless device with no moving parts, it is designed for repeated daily use over time without the wear associated with physical charging ports.

Why Choose This Product

This pad is a suitable choice for users seeking a slim, unobtrusive wireless charging solution that supports faster 9V input. Its 76% conversion rate indicates the efficiency of its power transfer during operation. The key differentiators are its ultra-thin 6.5mm height and its support for both 5V and 9V charging protocols, offering flexibility depending on the available power source. It provides the core benefit of wireless convenience without a bulky design.
