Neck Phone Holder: A Hands-Free Mount for Point-of-View Smartphone Recording

This Neck Phone Holder is a practical wearable accessory designed to free your hands while using your smartphone. It solves the common problem of needing to hold your phone during activities like cooking, cycling, or live streaming, allowing you to capture stable, immersive video footage directly from your perspective. The device offers a simple solution for content creators, hobbyists, and anyone who needs their hands available while recording or viewing their phone. Its adaptable design also lets it function as a compact desk stand, adding to its utility.

Features and Construction

This holder is built around a straightforward, functional design focused on stability and adjustability. Its core purpose is to secure a smartphone in a wearable position, enabling hands-free operation.

Material and Build

The holder is constructed from ABS plastic. This material is chosen for its practical properties: it is lightweight for comfortable wear, robust enough to support a smartphone, and offers some flexibility, which is utilised in the neck ring component. The construction provides a stable base for the phone without unnecessary weight.

Size and Practical Fit

The key feature for fit is the flexible neck ring. It is designed to be adaptable, intended to suit a range of different body types for a secure hold. The adjustable connecting arm is a central functional element, allowing for 180 degrees of movement. This enables the user to precisely angle their smartphone screen for optimal viewing or camera framing, whether recording themselves or their surroundings.

Uses and Placement

The primary value of this holder lies in its application across various everyday and hobbyist scenarios where hands-free phone use is beneficial.

Event or Professional Use

For activities like live streaming a cooking tutorial, presenting a hands-on technology review, or recording a first-person travel vlog, this holder provides a steady camera platform. It allows the user to engage fully with the task at hand—chopping ingredients, demonstrating a gadget, or exploring—while their smartphone captures the action from a natural, engaged perspective.

Everyday Home Use

Beyond content creation, it is useful for simpler tasks. You can follow a recipe on your phone while cooking without touching the screen with messy hands, watch a tutorial while doing DIY, or have video calls while your hands are occupied with other light tasks. Its secondary function as a desk stand also makes it handy for watching videos or making video calls at a table.

Benefits and Buying Value

The holder's value comes from its specific functionality, reusability across different situations, and its straightforward design.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

As a single, solid piece made from ABS plastic, it is designed for repeated use across multiple activities—from a cycling trip one day to a cooking session the next. Maintenance is minimal; keeping the plastic clean with a dry cloth is typically sufficient. Its simplicity means there are few parts to wear out or break under normal use.

Why Choose This Product

This product is for those seeking a dedicated, wearable solution for point-of-view recording that is more secure and adjustable than simply propping a phone against an object. The combination of the flexible neck ring for fit and the 180-degree adjustable arm for phone positioning offers a level of control specifically geared towards capturing active, hands-on footage. It provides a focused alternative to more complex camera rigs for everyday smartphone users.
