Mini Smart Magnetic Switch USB LED Table Lamp with Floating Switch for Bedside and Desk

This mini table lamp is built around a magnetic floating switch rather than a standard button or pull wire. The switch works by moving electromagnetic beads through the air, which gives the lamp a different look from typical bedside lighting. It is powered by a USB cable, so it can run from a laptop or a mobile power bank when you are away from a mains socket. The hidden LED light provides bright, comfortable illumination for reading or using a phone in bed, and the low-voltage design does not overheat after long time use, which matters in homes with children or pets. When the lamp is switched off, it also works as a decorative table piece. The lamp comes in Black, Green, Pink, Red, White, and Wooden colour, with a plastic shade and a modern simple style.

Features and Construction

The lamp combines a plastic shade with hidden LEDs and a floating switch control. It is available in two sizes and two power options, making it easier to match a bedside table, desk, or shelf. The compact 55 x 140 x 250mm version weighs about 220g, while the larger 68 x 177 x 353mm version offers a bigger presence without changing the basic design.

Material and Build

The shade is made from plastic according to the product information. The source describes the surface as smooth and easy to clean, so routine dusting can be done with a soft cloth. The hidden LED light sits inside the shade rather than being exposed as a visible bulb, which is part of the lamp's overall appearance. No other housing materials are specified in the source text.

Size and Practical Fit

The smaller lamp measures 55 x 140 x 250mm and weighs about 220g. A larger version measures 68 x 177 x 353mm. These dimensions are compact enough for a bedside table, desk, or shelf, though the exact fit depends on the space available. Both sizes use the same floating switch design and the same colour options.

Uses and Placement

This lamp is intended for bedroom and bedside atmosphere lighting, but the USB power supply also makes it useful on a desk or when travelling. It can be powered from a laptop or mobile power bank, so it does not rely only on a wall outlet. The low-voltage operation is described as safe for children and pets, and it does not overheat after long time use.

Event or Professional Use

For professional settings such as a desk or reception area, the modern simple style and colour range allow the lamp to blend with different interiors. The floating switch can be a talking point without needing a traditional switch, and the hidden LED light provides focused illumination. The lamp is not described as a colour-changing or dimmable model, so it should be chosen for its stated design rather than advanced lighting controls.

Everyday Home Use

At home, the lamp works as a bedside companion for reading or checking a phone before sleep. The USB cable lets you power it from a laptop or mobile power bank, which is useful if the nearest socket is already in use. Because the lamp is low voltage, it is described as safe around children and pets and does not overheat after long use. When switched off, it remains a decorative table piece.

Benefits and Buying Value

The main practical benefits come from the USB power supply, the floating switch control, and the low-voltage design. The lamp also has a stated service life, so replacement bulbs are not part of routine use in the way they are with some traditional lamps. The colour range and two size options give some flexibility when matching an existing room scheme.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The source states that the hidden LED light can last for more than 20,000 hours, while the average service life is listed as 10,000 hours. The lower figure is the safer guide when considering long-term use. The plastic shade is described as smooth and easy to clean, so maintenance can be kept simple with a soft, dry cloth. No replaceable bulb is mentioned in the packing list.
