Baby Sheepskin Blanket Windproof Cover in 100% Cotton, 100 x 80cm

This baby blanket and windproof cover is a practical layer for pram, pushchair, and carrycot use. The source lists 100% cotton fabric and a 100 x 80cm size, giving parents clear information about the material and the space the cover provides. It is available in grey or pink, so it can be matched to a pushchair, baby bag, or nursery colour scheme without difficulty. The windproof cover design is intended to help shield a baby from draughts during outdoor trips. Because the source does not list a tog rating, waterproof rating, or temperature range, this description keeps those details out and focuses only on what is known: the fabric, the measurements, the colour options, and the cover type. That makes it easier to judge whether the size and material suit a particular pram or pushchair. The 100 x 80cm rectangular shape gives enough fabric to drape over a baby's legs or body, depending on how the cover is used. The single-material cotton construction also keeps aftercare straightforward, because there are no mixed-fibre claims to decode. For parents who want a simple cover with clear source-backed specifications, this option provides the essentials without overstating performance.

Features and Construction

The construction details in the source are limited but clear: the cover is made from 100% cotton and measures 100 x 80cm. It is described as a baby blanket and windproof cover, and it comes in two colours. These facts form the basis for the points below, with no added claims about insulation, breathability, or weatherproofing beyond the word windproof.

Material and Build

The cover is made from 100% cotton, as stated in the source. Cotton is a familiar textile for baby items because it is a natural fibre, and the single-fabric content means there is no blend to account for. The windproof cover description indicates that the item is intended to act as a barrier against draughts when used over a baby in a pram or pushchair. The source does not specify a lining, filling, or additional membrane, so no such layers are claimed here. The 100 x 80cm size gives a generous rectangular piece of fabric that can be folded or draped as needed. This is a straightforward textile cover rather than a structured garment, and the description reflects that.

Size and Practical Fit

At 100 x 80cm, the cover offers a broad rectangular area for covering a baby. This size can work over a baby in a carrycot, across the lap in a pushchair, or as a general blanket layer. The source lists only this one size, so no other dimensions or age ranges are stated. Parents can compare 100 x 80cm against their own pram or pushchair to judge the fit. The rectangular shape may make it easier to tuck in at the sides than a shaped cover, depending on the pushchair. Because the source does not give a weight or thickness, those details are not included. The listed measurements are the only size information available.

Uses and Placement

The cover is intended for practical use with babies, particularly during outdoor trips. Its windproof cover type suggests it is meant to sit over a baby as a protective layer, while the cotton fabric keeps the material simple. The source does not list specific events or seasons, so the guidance below stays general and tied to the stated product type.

Event or Professional Use

For childminders, nurseries, or anyone caring for babies during walks, a 100 x 80cm cover can be kept with the pram for ready use. The windproof design is relevant when moving between indoors and outdoors, where draughts can reach a baby in an open pushchair. The grey or pink colour options allow a setting to choose a neutral or warmer tone as preferred. Because the source does not mention any certification or professional standard, this section does not claim one. The cover is simply a textile layer for covering a baby, as described. It can be folded and stored in a pram basket or changing bag between uses.

Everyday Home Use

At home, the same 100 x 80cm cover can be used as a blanket layer over a baby during rest, provided it is used safely and does not cover the face. The 100% cotton fabric makes it a simple item to fold and keep with other baby textiles. The windproof cover feature is less relevant indoors, but the size and material still make it useful as a general cover. The source does not list a tog rating, so it should not be treated as a substitute for a sleeping bag or swaddle. It is a blanket and cover, not a sleep system. Parents should follow safe sleep guidance and keep the cover away from the baby's face.

Benefits and Buying Value

The main buying value here comes from the clear specification: 100% cotton, 100 x 80cm, and a choice of grey or pink. There are no complex claims to assess, and the product type is easy to understand. This section looks at reuse, maintenance, and the practical reasons someone might choose this cover over a more complicated alternative.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

Because the cover is made from 100% cotton, it can be washed according to the care label and reused over time. The source does not give specific washing temperatures or drying instructions, so the item label should be checked before cleaning. The lack of mixed materials means there are no separate fabric components to care for. The 100 x 80cm size folds down for storage, which helps when the cover is not in use. It can be kept with pram accessories or baby blankets. The windproof cover function may make it useful across more than one season, depending on the weather, though no temperature range is stated. Reuse is supported by the simple textile construction, not by any claimed coating or treatment.

Why Choose This Product

This cover is a reasonable choice for someone who wants a baby blanket and windproof cover with a stated fabric and a known size. The 100% cotton content and 100 x 80cm measurement are the two strongest facts in the source. The grey and pink options give a small but useful colour choice. The windproof cover type addresses the practical need to shield a baby from draughts in a pram or pushchair. There are no claims about waterproofing, thermal ratings, or universal fit, because the source does not support them. For buyers who prefer a straightforward cover with clear basic specifications, this product matches that need. It is not presented as a premium or technical item, simply as a cotton cover in a useful size.
