Acrylic DIY Message Board LED Night Light: A Customisable USB-Powered Note Board for Daily Use

This creative table lamp combines practical messaging with soft ambient lighting. It consists of a high-quality transparent acrylic plate mounted on a simple bracket, forming a message board you can personalise with your own writing or drawings. Whether used for tomorrow's expectations, self-encouragement, daily check-ins, or simple memos, the content you create becomes part of a unique illuminated display. The written content can be easily wiped off with a cloth, allowing you to update the board's message whenever you like. Powered via a standard USB cable, this lamp offers flexible placement and serves as both a functional note board and a decorative light source for desks, shelves, or bedside tables.

Features and Construction

The message board is designed for straightforward use and personalisation. Its core components are the transparent acrylic panel and the supporting bracket, which work together to create a stable, writable light surface.

Material and Build

The board is made from anti-patterning acrylic, chosen for its smooth surface that accepts pen marks cleanly and wipes off without leaving ghosting or residue. The panel material is transparent acrylic, which allows the integrated LED light to shine through evenly, making your handwritten or drawn content glow softly from behind. The construction is double-sided, meaning both faces of the acrylic panel are available for writing or drawing, effectively doubling the usable space. The simple bracket provides secure support and requires no complex installation.

Size and Practical Fit

Available in three standard sizes, the board can fit different spaces and usage needs. The 150 x 150 mm (15x15cm) size offers a compact footprint for desks or crowded surfaces. The 200 x 200 mm (20x20cm) version provides a more substantial square area for longer messages or more detailed drawings. The 300 x 200 mm (30x20cm) large board gives a rectangular format suitable for lists, schedules, or larger decorative statements. The choice of size allows you to match the product to your specific spatial requirements.

Uses and Placement

This product serves multiple roles, from a personal organiser to a decorative gift. Its USB power source and simple design make it adaptable to various settings.

Event or Professional Use

For birthdays, trade fairs, advertising promotions, employee benefits, anniversary celebrations, business gifts, opening ceremonies, award ceremonies, or public relations events, the board can be customised with relevant messages, logos, or welcome notes. Its illuminated nature draws attention, while the ability to wipe and reuse it makes it practical for temporary displays or rotating promotional messages.

Everyday Home Use

At home, it functions as a daily reminder board for chores, a habit tracker, a motivational quote display, or a family message centre. The soft LED glow makes it suitable as a night light in bedrooms, halls, or children's rooms, providing gentle illumination without being overpowering. It can also act as a decorative light, adding a personalised touch to shelves, mantelpieces, or workspaces.

Benefits and Buying Value

The core value lies in its reusability, customisation, and practical illumination. It replaces single-use paper notes with a durable, updatable system.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The wipe-clean acrylic surface means you are not constantly consuming paper or sticky notes. A simple cloth erases the old message, allowing for endless updates without additional cost or waste. The USB power connection means no batteries are required, and it can draw power from commonly available sources like laptop ports, phone adapters, or power banks, reducing ongoing operational costs.

Why Choose This Product

This product merges the functionality of a note board with the ambiance of a soft light. Its key differentiator is the personalisation—you create the content, making each board unique. The included pens (either white or colourful, depending on style) mean you can start writing immediately. The range of sizes ensures there is an option that fits your space, whether you need a small bedside memo board or a larger desktop planner. It is a practical, reusable tool for organisation and a creative outlet for decoration.
